TCL Communication brought its devices to thousands of Major League Soccer fans throughout North America through pre-match fan experiences, in-game fan engagement, brand advertising, market promotions, social media and digital campaigns, and community engagement.

The echo effect.

When TCL’s MLS deal was nearing its end, TCL returned to the negotiating table, this time with Echo’s long-time agency partner by its side. This partner specializes in media planning, buying, advertising, and sponsorship across sports, events, entertainment, and multi-cultural marketing. Echo’s goal was to expand TCL’s visibility with fans, reduce spending, and increase its sponsorship dollar investment.

The negotiations were a game-changer. TCL enjoyed a net savings of over $6 million and amplified its reach across MLS channels. In addition to their existing partnerships, the agency negotiated new multi-year brand partnerships with the Atlanta United FC and New York Red Bulls, positioning TCL as the Official Smartphone and Tablet Partner for all four clubs.
