A California University

Generating $1.6 million in revenue for a university’s Pharm D program.

A leading California university respected for its high academic achievement, research, and innovation, wanted to increase awareness and enrollments for an upcoming Pharm D program cohort: Their goal was to target and educate qualified traffic, drive them to the university’s website, and lift online registrations within six months.

The challenge.

The university faced the challenge of spreading the word about its program to the right students and converting leads into enrollments. They needed a digital marketing plan to cut through the noise in a heavily competitive market and deliver measurable results.

The echo effect.

Echo did a deep dive into the university’s existing digital marketing efforts, looking for areas that could be optimized and strengthened. We then implemented a multi-pronged solution including:

  • Refreshing their existing digital programs, ensuring a polished and engaging presence.
  • Researching and implementing high-performing keywords and the best platforms to reach the most qualified audience.
  • Developing compelling ad copy that was informative, persuasive, and grabbed prospects’ attention.
  • Launching, monitoring, and refining the targeted campaign for over six months to maximize impact and ROI.

Impact and results.

The digital campaign was transformative. It generated 289 leads—77 of which converted into enrollments for $1.6 million in enrollment revenue. The Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) was an impressive $37.45 per enrolled student, with an outstanding 153:1 return on ad spend (ROAS). These outcomes exceeded the University’s expectations and demonstrated how a well- executed higher education digital marketing strategy can be a game-changer.
